Why are people spazzing out about Ste’s tracksuit? with or without Brendan or Doug, it has always been what is associated with his character. This is like if you took skimpy dresses from mercedes or leggings and hoop earrings from jacqui.

 When Ste was with Doug, they dressed him in a lot of sweaters, now he’s with Brendan, he is wearing hoodies and mixture in between, honestly, seems more Ste’s style imo. Clothes help to convey the story and the character’s personality, so given the story line they are going with the character they will change the wardrobe to fit/sell a particular story. They tried to mix what is suppose to be ste’s style with Doug’s and lost it. This is why Ste started dressing in a lot of sweaters. It had nothing to do with progression.

A character can change, doesn’t mean they have to lose their identity. Cheryl wanted to be taken more seriously, her wardrobe has changed but you can still see pieces of clothing that is still the kooky Cheryl which I love looking forward to what she was going to wear. At one point they lost  what made Cheryl(imo) when they had her wore that dress at Lynsey Funeral I personally was happy to see the real Cheryl again and I think they(wardrobe peeps) realize this which she seems to be more herself just a bit more refined. So a lot of Ste fans, like myself, is happy to see Ste in trackies. It doesn’t mean I want him to start stealing or to live in it but just indicate he’s getting back what is identified with that character.

come on guys, it’s just clothes…
